Long Lost Smiles

I havent seen Erik in twenty something years, hes my cousin. I got to take him to lunch, and spend a short amount of time with him before he left for Oregon again. It was wonderful to see him!

I havent seen Wrenetta in six years, shes my only female cousin. She lived with us for a while when she went to highschool, then she moved to Oregon. She has dealt with her fair share of trials in the past 20 years and I havent seen much of her. It was awesome to spend the day with her, pampering her with manicures, massages, pedicures, shopping, breakfast and lunch. It was so great to see her with a smile, having faith and feeling positive about her life. Im so proud of her!

My Uncle Tony, my only Uncle, has been a part of our lives a lot lately. We brought him to Colorado to teach our kids to fish a few months back, and since then, he calls every day to wish us a good day or say good night. Hes such a humorous guy, always reminding me of my Papa Sam. 

Im so grateful to have spent this day with them, I hope to spend many more!

The last week has been pretty busy...so, getting the camera out EVERY day was a task, but there were a few days that we took over 100 pics, here are a few.

My awesome friend makes me grin today! Thanks for the trip to Noodles for lunch, and the awesome FB bashing, it felt so cool to be someone else ;)

Day 7

The man of the house needs to stop leaving! No more vacation till this pile of mail is gone! The white on the lower right side of the desk...is Ashly's way of saying she's through with his absences...she so cleverly decorated his desk with whiteout. lovely! The iPhone atop the mess, makes me grin cuz I get to chat with that said man, every night (whether he's home or away)!
